Rocket's team includes two others: Dhruv (Ranveer Singh) and Dev (Kay Kay Menon). Dev is a very tough guy and almost too smart for his own good. Dev is also particularly rude and abrasive, much to the chagrin of Rocket's team leader Bhola (Sharat Saxena). Rocket doesn't speak bluntly, he speaks with a dash of wit and sarcasm. Rocket is happily married to Bina (Manjari Phadnis) and together they have a beautiful daughter, Geeta (Koushik Tanna).Rocket's best friend Shabbir (Rajesh Sharma) is an ordinary office worker who still dreams of becoming an actor. One day, Rocket's sister-in-law tells him that she has gotten him an interview for a guest role in a TV soap. While on his way to the interview, he meets an old schoolmate Alka (Vidya Balan) at the railway station. He is immediately attracted to her and they end up having lunch together. He discovers that she is in town for a few days and requests her to join them for dinner and she agrees. On that night, after their dinner, Rocket and Alka take a walk outside in the rain and share their innermost feelings about their love lives and wish to be loved.
